ACTIVITIES OF THE PLK CAPITAL GROUP
PLK is the parent company of the PLK Capital Group, managing the national railway network and ensuring safe rail traffic throughout the country. The company is responsible for railway infrastructure, including railway lines, switches, level crossings, engineering structures, bridges, viaducts, station buildings, and other technical structures (such as platforms, shelters, and acoustic screens).
Subsidiaries
At the time of adoption of the Strategy, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. had five subsidiaries: DOLKOM sp. z o.o., PNUIK sp. z o.o., ZRK-DOM sp. z o.o., PPM-T sp. z o.o., and TRAKCJA S.A., Their activities include, among others, the construction, repair, and modernization of track superstructure and engineering structures.

The PLK Capital Group undertakes extensive activities based, , on the analysis of existing construction standards and the implementation of changes that increase the resilience of rail infrastructure to the effects of climate change.
