CARGOTOR Ltd. (hereinafter: “CARGOTOR” or “the Company”) is a company specializing in the management of and access provision to railway infrastructure. The Company acts as a railway infrastructure manager within the meaning of the provisions of the Polish Railway Transport Act, ensuring all users equal and non-discriminatory access to its facilities.

As of January 16, 2026, CARGOTOR is a member of the PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. Capital Group (hereinafter: PLK S.A. Group). which constitutes an important stage in the Company’s development and strengthening its position within the national railway infrastructure system. Operating within the PLK S.A. Group enables more coherent and efficient management of infrastructure, as well as better coordination of investment and maintenance activities.

CARGOTOR manages railway infrastructure including track systems and railway sidings located in the Małaszewicze Transshipment Area and in several dozen locations across Poland, which play a significant role in the handling of freight transport.

CARGOTOR’s core strengths include:

• experience in managing railway infrastructure of national and international significance;
• strategic location of the managed facilities, particularly at the intersection of East–West transport corridors;
• stable organizational and ownership structure within the PLK S.A. Capital Group;
• transparent and non-discriminatory infrastructure access policies;
• cooperation with a wide range of railway undertakings and logistics companies.

HISTORY

CARGOTOR was established on November 13, 2013, to comply with regulatory requirements under the Railway Transport Act of March 28, 2003, particularly the separation of railway carrier and infrastructure management functions.

Since its establishment, CARGOTOR has managed rail infrastructure primarily dedicated to freight transport. The Company’s key operational area is the Małaszewicze Transshipment Area, one of the most important logistics hubs in Poland and in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

On January 16, 2026, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. finalized the acquisition of 100% of CARGOTOR’s shares, integrating the Company into the PLK S.A. Capital Group. This transition has created new growth opportunities for CARGOTOR and further integrated Poland’s rail infrastructure under a single, national manager.

CARGOTOR performs its tasks in compliance with applicable laws, freight market demands, and strategic directions for rail infrastructure development in Poland, working in close cooperation with other members of the PLK S.A. Capital Group.
